This is the cake I made for the Warwick Clay Target Club in celebration of thier 130th Anniversary!
Two of the clubs members {oldest and youngest} cut the cake on the day, it is a great sport to get into and Warwick has one of the best clubs in Australia. My husband is a member of this club, my brother is the President, my Mum runs the kitchen and almost everyone else on my side of the family shoots at this club so I was very pleased to be able to make the cake for this special day.
Both tiers are butter cake, all the decorations I cut from fondant icing so everything is edible.
I put a few clay targets smashing up as this is what they do when you hit them.
This part of the cake was made to resemble one of the clubs trap houses and the grey strips are the lanes where the shooters stand to take aim.
Happy Anniversary WCTC!
As usual another outstanding masterpiece.
