Gina Auger Cakes {logo design}

What do you think of my new logo/watermark, this will be popping up on my cake photos from now on instead of Gina's Cakes. This will clear up any confusion with another Gina's Cakes website who apparently likes my cake photos alot!
This is a premade logo I bought from the lovely
 Shelly of Atomic Wonderland... graphic design sprinkled with a touch of magic.

Golf Birthday Cake

My sister-in-law requested a cake for a surprise birthday bash her and my brother were hosting.  So here is the completed Golf themed cake I designed and made for the occasion that of course we attended over the weekend.  Inside is my chocolate mud cake, the bottom cake is 10 inches and the little one on top is 6 inches.  Everything is edible on this cake, the golf cart, trees and top tier were kept aside for the the birthday boy to take home the rest was devoured by over fifty guests!!

The only complaint by the recipient was that I didn't put the ball close enough to the hole!

I received many positive comments at the party for this one which really made my day!
Happy 60th Birthday Rex.

Golf Cake {sneak peek!}

I have had another really busy week with paper products, cupcake toppers {two new designs for my shop which will be online soon!} and a golf themed cake for this weekend.  Here is the little golf bag and golf clubs which will be going on the back of the buggy, these are only about 4cm long and are all made of fondant icing.

This is my first golf buggy so I'm quite pleased with how it turned out, I painted the seat with pearl lustre dust
which made it a bit shiny and vinyl like!

Here is the back view, I cut out a bit of a shelf for the little bag to sit on {I'm not really into golf so my husband advised me a bit on the details!}, the lights and other accents are painted on with food colour I still have to do the ends of the clubs in silver and I have a tiny fondant beer bottle to add.

This will all be going on a two tiered chocolate mud cake, I will post the finished
cake next week along with some other things I made these past two weeks.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Pink Pony Birthday Party! {and Pony Cake}

I recently had the pleasure of creating a party table using my 'pink pony' paper collection for my friends little girl Taylor.  I also made a pony cake, some cupcakes and some cute little ice cream cone cakes...Taylor's Mum was filling the table up with lot's more delicious treats, fairy bread, watermelon, strawberries and much more! I have plenty of photos to share...

I made a little fence to go  around the cake and tiny little sugar flowers in pink, white and yellow. The two ponies are from the little people collection which you can buy at Big W.

Custom made 'pink pony' pennant banner with matching gingham ribbon.

Custom made 'pink pony' table signs are sold as a set of six, these are printed on quality cardstock and fold out to stand up on their own. These could also be used for placecards personalised with your guests names.

Custom made 'pink pony' bag toppers, these are available for 10cm or 15cm bags
 and are also sold as a set of six.

Here are the treat bags I created, the labels of course are part of the 'pink pony' collection available as a set of six, the brown paper bags are available at spotlight and the gingham bows I made from fabric strips cut out with pinking shears.  Taylor's Mum filled these to the brim with all sorts of girly treats!

This little sign reads 'take me home', the bales of hay really topped it off {thanks Dean!}
All of my paper products are available to purchase individually or as a complete package and will all be listed in my shop which is coming soon!! Until then you can still order or enquire via email.

Ice cream cone cupcakes!  I love making these and have made many different styles...mmm yum!

Alana {Taylor's Mum} set up a craft table for the girls complete with fairy wand decorating, beading/jewellery making, she even had pink organza bags for thier completed goodies
to go in ready to take home!

Happy Birthday Taylor!

Bonbonniere/Wedding Favour Boxes!

I have been asked to do some wedding favour boxes or bonbonniere's for an upcoming wedding!
These are the two designs that I created which the couple were going to choose one of...after seeing them  they decided to keep both and have them alternating around the tables.  I will post some pictures for you of what will be inside after the wedding!

What do you think of my diamond confetti {or table scatters}  These are really popular
at the moment, especially around the cake table....they come in a range of colours and sizes, my favourites
are these ones pictured and the baby pink ones!
